Due to rain this week, our update is a little shorter. Still, crews were back to work Thursday, prepping the final surface of asphalt between Cabarrus and Killarney, installing brick pavers, pulling electric wire, and caulking expansion joints.

Crews will continue working on Union Street over the weekend, completing the asphalt installation and setting light poles. Weather permitting, road striping crews will be out early next week.
