This week, Downtown Streetscape crews continued working on infrastructure and sidewalk improvements.
Infrastructure crews started work early Wednesday morning to cap the existing 8″ and 10″ water mains and demo a portion of the old lines in order to install a new 6″ fire line near the Midblock.
Electric crews continued installing caissons for the foundations of the new light poles.
And Sidewalk crews continued working on a new ramp/stair between Barbrick and Corban Ave, new seat walls near Corban Ave, and grading for new sidewalks.
Weather permitting, concrete crews will be on site next week installing new sidewalks from Barbrick Ave north towards the Midblock.
