Downtown Streetscape Crews have been hard at work. Last week they finished the 285 LF of sewer installation up to Cabarrus. This week they worked on installing the 30″ stormwater drainage pipe up to Cabarrus on the west side of Union Street. Next week, they’ll move to the east side and install 18″ and 15″ stormwater pipes, again working from the Midblock to Cabarrus Ave.
Sidewalk crews completed installation of brick pavers on Barbrick and from Barbrick to Corban Ave including two of the crosswalks in the roadway. They also started installing landscape drainage pipes on the east side of Union Street.
