Downtown Concord offers several FREE public parking options for visitors. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick visit, spending a few hours downtown, or staying all day, you’ll find a convenient parking option to fit your needs.
Primary Weekday Visitor Parking
Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the four primary visitor parking options are:
- On-Street Parking – A convenient option for short visits throughout downtown.
- Bicentennial Parking Lot – Located off Church Street, this lot provides easy access to downtown destinations
- Municipal Parking Deck – Located off Cabarrus Avenue, the city parking deck offers public parking on Level 1 during the weekday hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- County Parking Deck – Located off Spring Street and Corban Avenue, this deck is the best option for visitors planning to stay for three hours or more.
Choosing the Best Parking Option
If you’re visiting for just a couple of hours, on-street parking, the Bicentennial Parking Lot, or Level 1 of the Municipal Parking Deck are great options.
If you plan to stay longer than two to three hours, we recommend the County Parking Deck. The County Parking Deck has no time limit for public parking on levels 1-3 and is available throughout the day, making it the best choice for longer visits.
Public parking is available throughout the County Parking Deck from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Beginning on level 4, some spaces are reserved for downtown apartment residents; however, these spaces are only reserved after 5 p.m. and on weekends. During weekday daytime hours, visitors may park in any available spaces throughout the deck.
Evening and Weekend Visitor Parking
Parking availability changes after regular business hours. After 5 p.m. on weekdays and before 8 a.m., as well as on weekends, the entire Municipal Parking Deck is available for public parking.
